The idea was for this to run just before kick-off for the 2013 Super Bowl. Deemed too masculine, they killed it along with my soul and went with the puppy ad instead. The spot eventually ran to pump up America during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
We wanted to find everything that's cliche in America and somehow make people scream "FUCK YEAH" and be proud at the end of it. So we got Sam Bayer and Hank Corwin together and threw them some Clydesdales, a motorcycle gang, 3rd generation 320lb weight lifter named Omar, the infamous twerking surfer, an olympic cheerleader, 2 pro football players covered in mud, a champion boxer, death metal musician, hero firefighter, and a an F9 fighter jet (only because we couldn't get a 15). Basically the little boy's wet dream I never imagined.
Google wanted something made in the holiday spirit. We gave them a film about a man in need of a little help and a new Google product that was up to the task. 5 million views in the 5 days leading up to Christmas, we like to think we helped set the mood.
Meet the residents of the rainiest town in America. See how they stand up to whatever's coming down.
So Bud came out with these throwback crates for the holidays. And we started talking about why Budweiser makes beer. The answer was simple and we didn't want to overcomplicate it.
Friends.
And after the family time, the holidays have always been about getting together. With your close friends. Your true friends. Your best friends. One could argue they are the greatest relationships on earth. We build and grow these amazing bonds when we are young. Then college comes along, and life starts to set in. Friends move away and for the first time “the crew” has been separated from their regular excursions. We soon calculate the time it’s been since we last all got together and it’s shocking how quickly the years have gone by. Coming home for the holidays now has an elevated importance.
So we went looking for the best friendships in america and it all started by asking people who they would like to get a drink with over the holidays.
Introducing the Budweiser Holiday choir.
R.I.P COUPONS
On February 1st 2012, JCPenney decided to change. No more coupons, no more crazy sales and no more pricing games.
The screaming TV commercial ran for a week straight. Someone even called Mother and left a death threat on the company voicemail. I think that makes it pretty successful.
EVERYONE WILL WANT TO BE COLLEGE AGE
AirTran has a program that allows anyone 18-22 years old to fly standby, cheap. So we made a campaign to get their attention.
The program was a unique niche program to the airline category and was created to accomplish two things: 1. Sell seats that would otherwise go unused, and 2. Seed AirTran as their airline of choice for the future.
We were tasked with stimulating people's curiosity and reviving the magic of search.
Searching for information has been simplified into just keywords, links and web pages. People have forgotten about the excitement of being curious and learning new things.
The solution: The Fysigunkus Project.
You know Nick Kroll as the lawyer from the League. He started a new sketch comedy show at Comedy Central in January of 2013 about all that's wrong in the world of entertainment. So, naturally we should make fun of the things that promote it.
I never dreamt I'd see the day where I get to make fun of advertising in a campaign with intentional bad ads. Big logos, bad gradients, cheesy photoshoots- we did all of it to launch the show.

To get the "buzz" going, we started by launching teaser ads in LA and in New York subways using one character, Dr. Armond. We made the ads look like they were advertising canine plastic surgery.
Drunk History was originally a YouTube series where each episode provided a historical lesson by a drunk person, where the likes of Michael Cera, Jack Black and Danny McBride reenacted the scenes as famous historical figures. It came to CC in 2013. These were my concepts.
WELCOME TO BRIDGEVILLE
We pitched a campaign to Chevy for their 100 year anniversary that tells the history of Chevrolet through the eyes of owners, dealers and their communities. They loved the idea so we created a site containing webisodes that rolled out weekly inviting owners, dealers and other fans to share their Chevy experiences by “pinning” them to the map.
It opens by zooming into a map of Bridgeville, Pa., home of Colussy Chevrolet, one of the oldest Chevrolet dealerships in the country.
Sprout came to us with the task of activating the Sprout Community. So, we set out of create an interactive world that inspires parents and kids to think differently about their world and experiment in it. This was done with characters that entertain and inform and original programming that helps parents and kids make the most of everyday moments in a unique way.
For Comedy Central's holiday card, we wanted to include all of Comedy Central's little soundbites that people repeat throughout the year. This time you can combine all of your favorites to make your own mashup.
We created a fashion week content on NBC for The Thread, a New York segment on NBC for all things fashion.
These are the pieces.
